Client-owned websites, systems, and apps may have their own privacy notices. When we process information only to provide services for a client, that client decides why the information is used and its privacy notice controls.
Scope and our role
This policy applies when you visit aestrawave.com, contact us, engage AestraWave for technology services, or use an AestraWave mobile application that refers to it. It does not replace a separate privacy notice presented for a particular product, customer project, or mobile app.
AestraWave is responsible for information used for our own business purposes. In client projects, we may instead act as a service provider or processor and handle information only on the client's documented instructions.
Information we handle
Depending on how you interact with us, information may include:
- Contact and project details, such as your name, business email, phone number, company, service interests, messages, and materials you choose to share.
- Service and account information needed to plan, deliver, support, secure, or bill for an engagement.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, pages requested, and security or diagnostic logs produced by our hosting environment.
- Mobile app information described below and in any app-specific notice, including information you enter, content you upload, and diagnostics generated when you use the app.
Our current website does not use advertising trackers, and its contact form does not send your entries to a server. You can contact us directly by email if you would like us to receive an inquiry.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and recommend suitable services.
- Plan, provide, maintain, and support websites, cloud systems, software, and mobile apps.
- Authenticate users, operate requested features, troubleshoot problems, and protect systems against misuse.
- Manage our client relationship, communications, records, and legal obligations.
- Improve the reliability, usability, and security of our services.
We use information only when we have an appropriate basis, such as your request or consent, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or a legitimate business need that does not override your rights.
Mobile apps and device permissions
A mobile app's data use depends on its features. An app may handle account details, app interactions, device or installation identifiers, crash diagnostics, uploaded content, and push-notification tokens. Before release, the app will identify the information it needs and provide any additional notices required for that product.
Features may request access to your camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts, or notifications. We request a device permission only when a feature needs it and after the operating system gives you a choice. You can manage permissions in your device settings, though disabling one may prevent the related feature from working.
If an AestraWave app lets you create an account, it will provide a way to request account deletion in the app or through a clearly identified web or support channel. We will delete or de-identify associated information unless retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or another disclosed reason.
Google Play and Apple App Store publishing
AestraWave can design, develop, maintain, and help publish mobile apps through Google Play and the Apple App Store. These stores distribute downloadable apps; cloud hosting for an app's APIs, databases, and backend services is a separate service that can be included in a project.
For each release, the app's privacy notice and store disclosures must match its actual behavior, including any third-party libraries and software development kits. This includes Google Play's Data safety information and the Apple App Store's app privacy details. The responsible Play Console or App Store Connect account owner must review, approve, and keep those disclosures current.
Apple platforms may also require privacy manifests or permission disclosures for an app and certain integrated SDKs. If an iOS app supports account creation, the app will provide a straightforward way to initiate deletion of the account and associated personal information, subject to any disclosed legal or security retention needs. Google and Apple may independently process store, account, purchase, and device information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention, security, and international transfers
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, a client agreement, security and dispute records, or applicable legal requirements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the service involved.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and our role, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or object to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on it. To make a request, email us using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity and may direct a request to the relevant client when we process information on that client's behalf.
Children's privacy and third-party services
Our website and general business services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A mobile app intended for children or a mixed audience will use an app-specific notice and age-appropriate safeguards.
Our services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, app stores, payment providers, identity services, or other platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services, apps, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects an app, we may also provide notice in the app or through another appropriate channel.
